Giving Tuesday 11/30/21

Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

With your help, we have been holding weekly educational support groups for families of addicted loved ones since 2019, including Marianne, who has found success in her own recovery from codependency and wants to thank donors like you for helping her “heal her soul”‘, as she wrote to me recently in an email. She sent this to me, too.

“The meeting that had the most impact on me was when you talked about the addict’s brain and how long it takes for the dopamine levels to get back to normal and that addiction is a disease because it affects the brain. Nobody had explained it to me like that before. Your organization educating this community is so important. Thank you.”  Marianne Krause

Marianne Krause

We helped her son, Erik, with a sober living and recovery coaching scholarship last year after he completed treatment, and he just celebrated one year of sobriety – two success stories in one family – offers so much hope to others and fulfills our mission of recovery support for both family members and their addicted loved ones.

This #GivingTuesday, help us give the gift of recovery. You will be providing scholarships to addicted loved ones and education to their families through our family program. Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 for our #GivingTuesday campaign. The holiday season is just around the corner, and we invite you to kick it off with us by giving back on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving.

Please consider making a donation for #GivingTuesday – or pledge a monthly recurring donation (even better)  – to help our addicted young people, who are desperate for a safe place to go. You will give someone a #FreshStart and may save a life! Together we give.

With gratitude,
Mary Cucarola, Founder
